Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi has made numerous ironic statements over the years and her remarks chastising Republicans for passing legislation to de-fund the Planned Parenthood abortion business contain another one. Pelosi seems to think that revoking federal taxpayer funding for the abortion company, which takes away the lives of unborn children, is taking away “life-saving care.”
“For their first act of 2015, Republicans decided to renew their attack on women’s health. With yesterday’s reconciliation bill, Republicans once again tried to take family planning life-saving preventive care away from millions of American women,” Pelosi claims.
“It is the House GOP’s 11th vote to attack women’s health in 114th Congress. … This Republican bill to defund Planned Parenthood is an insult to the intelligence and judgment of women. It’s a waste of time and taxpayer dollars. The president will veto the bill. Democrats will sustain the president’s veto. … Republicans should, a New Year’s resolution would be to quit their anti-women health obsession for the New Year,” the pro-abortion Democrat added.

The House of Representatives voted this week to confirm the changes the Senate made to the reconciliation bill that would de-fund the Planned Parenthood abortion business, which was caught selling the body parts of aborted babies. Hearings have exposed how the abortion company likely violated federal laws to sell the body parts.
Leading pro-life groups applauded passage of the bill, which is the first time a measure de-funding the nation’s abortion corporation has gone to the desk of any president.
