At LifeNews, we love to report about the beautiful ways that families celebrate life.

This Christmas, one Texas family is celebrating with an extra special gift – an adopted baby brother.

Earlier this year, little Chloe Solstad wrote a special request on her Christmas wish list, “For my mom and dad to get the baby they deserve.”

So, one day, parents Courtney and Steve Solstad gathered Chloe and her sisters, Emma and Maci, around the Christmas tree to see the wish come true. Sleeping beneath the tree was their new adopted baby brother, Nathan.

The family caught the adorable moment on film as the daughters saw their new baby brother for the first time. They laughed and jumped up and down and squealed with joy. In their excitement, the sisters oohed and cried out “He’s so sweet!”, “Can I touch him?” and “I’m going to wet my pants.”

Courtney Solstad told The Daily Mail that her daughters did not know anything about their new baby brother until they discovered him sleeping under the tree.

“We met them at the door and told them that we had been out Christmas shopping and got them a gift to share … and it was under the tree,” Courtney said.

The family shared the video of their special Christmas announcement on social media. About 400,000 people have watched it online, according to the news report.

“This has been one of the most magical experiences of our lives,” Courtney told the news outlet. “We prayed big things and God answered in big ways.”
