A group of concerned California citizens staged several protests this summer after discovering that their town was a central point for the trafficking of aborted babies’ body parts.

Their town of Placerville, California, is home to StemExpress, a company that was caught working with Planned Parenthood to harvest aborted babies’ body parts for research.

Several of the undercover videos released by the Center for Medical Progress expose the relationship between StemExpress and abortion centers. In the 8th video, company CEO Cate Dyer laughs about receiving fully intact aborted babies from Planned Parenthood.

Many citizens in Placerville who watched the undercover videos were shocked to learn about what was happening in their town, according to a local ABC 10 news report. Through Facebook, the concerned citizens organized several protests outside of StemExpress in August.

“StemExpress Founder Cate, please stop any dealings with aborted babies. We do NOT want blood on our hands, on our land here in El Dorado County, nor in California!” a protester wrote on the People Protesting Stem Express Facebook page. “These babies deserve to live! You can use natural-death miscarriages, donated (cadaver) bodies and adult cells … but please, no more involvement with innocent aborted babies!”

Lisa Hart, with another protest group called Get Stem Out of Hangtown, said they were horrified whey they learned that the local company was buying the body parts of aborted babies from Planned Parenthood.

“We’re here to be a voice for those innocent lives,” Hart said. “We don’t condone this in our town. We don’t want this in our town.”

Protester Alex Gainsbrugh told the news station that StemExpress is deceiving vulnerable women.

“They’re selling women a lie. … (Saying) ‘we’re going to donate these parts to science and something good is going to come out of this. And when you use the word ‘donation’, it makes it sound like no one is making money.”

Hart said they also asked the El Dorado County Sheriff’s department to investigate StemExpress, and the local board of supervisors to audit the business for possible illegal activity, according to Live Action News.

As more scandalous videos were released in the past few months, StemExpress announced that it would cut ties with Planned Parenthood. The announcement came after the sixth video showed a former employee for StemExpress sharing horrifying details about her work with the company.

Holly O’Donnell, a licensed phlebotomist who unsuspectingly took a job as a “procurement technician” at StemExpress in late 2012, said some abortion facilities pressured women into donating their aborted babies, while others simply took the aborted babies’ body parts without the woman’s consent.

In the seventh video, O’Donnell told the harrowing story of harvesting an intact brain from a late-term male unborn baby whose heart was still beating after the abortion.

“‘I want to see something kind of cool,’” O’Donnell says her supervisor asked her. “And she just taps the heart, and it starts beating. And I’m sitting here and I’m looking at this fetus, and its heart is beating, and I don’t know what to think.”

The expose’ videos catching Planned Parenthood officials selling the body parts of aborted babies have shocked the nation. Watch all eleven here.
