The 40 Days for Life pro-life prayer campaign is already paying dividends and the latest campaign has saved more than 140 babies from abortion. In an update today, 40 Days director Shawn Carney shares the amazing story of a woman in Buffalo, New York who got off the operating table right before the abortion procedure began and walked out.

The 40 Days for Life team in Buffalo reports two babies saved from abortion … including one amazing story that certainly cannot be a coincidence.
Two prayer volunteers met with a young woman outside the abortion center.
She’s about 20 years old and was 11 weeks pregnant … and she told them when she was inside, the abortion procedure was about to begin. The staff had set up an IV, but for some reason it just wasn’t working. So they had to start over and try again.
When they were trying for the second time to administer the IV, the woman called out, “Stop, stop, stop!”
So they did – and she left the building!
Volunteers were able to give her information about the local pregnancy outreach center as well as additional resources. She took the material … smiled … and waved goodbye.
Earlier this year, LifeNews reported on another case of a woman getting up off the operating table and leaving.
Jeff Durbin, a pastor from Apologia Church in Arizona,talked about invited a woman named Tina to come up and share how their sidewalk ministry impacted her. She said, “We’re very, very grateful for them saving our baby’s life and opening our eyes; and they’ve really helped us so much and changed our point of view. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have my baby. So if you guys can do this and help people, I think it would be great. I mean, they’ve helped me so much, and opened my eyes and opened my husband’s eyes and we are forever grateful.”

She concluded, “Without them I would not have my baby. They opened my eyes and gave me this beautiful gift. God is just so wonderful and you guys are all so wonderful for doing this.”
