This fall, HBO actress and Planned Parenthood favorite Lena Dunham is launching a newsletter with friend Jenni Konner that focuses on “feminism, style, health, politics, friendship and everything else.” However, from the looks of it, their newsletter is being used to publicize their families’ abortion history and advance their pro-abortion views.

In a preview from the newsletter, Konner explains that her mother had an illegal abortion in Mexico and doesn’t regret it one bit. After asking her mom if she ever had an abortion, she responded, “Yes, in Mexico. On my birthday. It involved meeting a guy, holding sunglasses in my hand and driving 300 miles into Ensenada. I was sure I was going to die but it turned out well.“

Later Konner says, “I have been raised in a world where until very recently it was a given that I would have the right to choose. Today, that right is at risk. We’re publishing one last preview before our official launch because Republicans are threatening to shut down the federal government unless Planned Parenthood is defunded right now.”

As LifeNews previously reported, pro-life lawmakers in Congress have been working to de-fund Planned Parenthood after videos were released showing their top executives haggling over the price of aborted babies’ body parts, admitting to altering abortion procedures to procure salable organs and casually discussing ways their doctors can “crush” unborn babies to obtain “fully-intact” body parts for harvesting.

In fact, the most recent video released by The Center for Medical Progress catches the abortion company selling specific body parts, including the heart, eyes and “gonads” of unborn babies. Of course, Konner and Dunham don’t mention Planned Parenthood’s scandal in their newsletter and instead encourage women to share their mother’s abortion stories so lawmakers will continue supporting the abortion company.

On Twitter, Dunham and Konner created the hashtag #AskYourMother to promote their abortion campaign. View some of the responses from their campaign below.
