On September 4, Fox News is planning to air an hour-long report on Planned Parenthood’s organ harvesting business. Breitbart News reports that the special will start at 10 p.m. and is titled, Planned Parenthood: The Hidden Harvest. The documentary will review the videos released by The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) showing Planned Parenthood’s top executives haggling over the cost of aborted babies’ body parts and discussing ways to alter procedures to obtain organs for harvesting.

Additionally, the report will reveal how CMP was able to get access to Planned Parenthood’s top officials and how they trained themselves to be experts in organ harvesting. The president of Operation Rescue, Troy Newman, said he started working on the undercover expose’ with David Daleiden, the founder of CMP, more than three years ago. He said, “I expect the documentary will be very much on our side. This information really made [Fox News anchor] Shannon Bream emotional.”

Later Newman added that the documentary will reveal “how CMP came about and how it is rocking the world in exposing the ‘dark harvest’ of baby parts. It will be about David and the people around him and how we hatched the plan to go undercover to uncover these atrocities.”

Fox News said the following in an announcement about the television special: “This summer, a series of secretly recorded videos have exposed a business in fetal tissue. Already a number of politicians have called for the defunding of Planned Parenthood, a primary target of the sting, while others support the organization and call this just another salvo in the War on Women. The Fox News Reporting special … delves into the controversy, featuring exclusive new details about the making of those videos, and investigating an industry and field of scientific research that many didn’t even know existed.”

The Fox News Editor-at-Large and veteran journalist who headed up the team producing the documentary, Peter Boyer, explained that before the videos were released he really had not considered what happened to the babies killed in abortions. He said, “Here was a national brand, Planned Parenthood, and allegations that the activists were making about the selling of baby parts. You had to stop and say, huh? Almost from the start, as it progressed, not too far in it occurred to us that this is potentially an important though a very difficult hour-long special.”

Boyer also said the video highlights Stem Express’s role in Planned Parenthood’s scandalous activities. He explained, “These middlemen — StemExpress — quite proudly tell their story about being a breakthrough startup company. What we can say is that someone is actually selling fetal tissue to the end user and between the suppliers, Planned Parenthood and the middlemen, a lot of money is changing hands. And even if it was just a little, you ask, is this legal or not?”

Fox News reached out to Planned Parenthood for comment but they did not respond, which Boyer found shocking because he thought the organization would “happily cooperate.” “I assumed we’d get Cecile Richards but they didn’t even acknowledge our request for an interview or a comment. “If they’d sat down with us, we’d have tested Richards’ claim that the money they take in is to cover costs, and we’d have asked about their federal money and the issue of fungibility,” said Boyer.

However, StemExpress did respond to their request for comment and told Fox News that their business is not about profit, They said, “Yes, we are a for profit company but we plow all money back into the company because it is expensive to do procurement but we don’t make any money on fetal tissue harvesting and disposition. It is not profitable.”

Previously, Boyer was a senior correspondent at Newsweek and spent 18-years as a staff writer for the New Yorker. He also was a national correspondent for the Los Angeles Times and a media reporter for the New York Times. In 2013, Boyer headed up the team that produced an hour-long special on Kermit Gosnell, the late-term abortionist who was convicted on three counts of first-degree murder.

Gosnell ran a “House of Horrors” in Philadelphia where minority women were maimed and their babies were butchered. His “clinic” was filled with bloody furniture, outdated equipment, and the body parts of babies that he slaughtered. The Grand Jury report estimates that Gosnell delivered hundreds of babies alive and then had their spinal cords “snipped.”

Be sure to watch the special on Fox News on Friday, September 4 at 10 p.m.
