Florida Tells Planned Parenthood: We Will Continue Investigating You for Breaking the Law

Florida officials are today reiterating to the Planned Parenthood abortion business that it may not do 2nd-trimester abortions on unborn babies in the state in violation of state laws. Planned Parenthood abortion clinics in Florida are not happy they were caught illegally doing 2nd-trimester abortions, so they sued the state to keep doing them and the state is once again saying no.

The state of Florida launched an investigation into the Planned Parenthood abortion business after multiple expose’ videos have caught the abortion business selling the body parts of aborted babies. State health department inspectors found Planned Parenthood illegally doing the kind of later abortions that allow Planned Parenthood to gather the body parts of aborted babies for sale.

Florida became the 11th state to launch a investigation into Planned Parenthood after the abortion company was exposed selling the body parts of aborted babies. Florida Governor Rick Scott, who is pro-life, ordered an investigation of 16 statewide Planned Parenthood offices.

Scott asked the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to immediately begin investigating the 16 Planned Parenthood offices in Florida that perform abortion procedures to ensure they are in full compliance with the law.

They found three have performed procedures outside the scope of their licenses and one has not kept proper records on disposing fetal remains.

After Planned Parenthood filed suit, new news reports indicate state officials are renewing their admonition to no do the illegal abortions. As the Tampa Bay newspaper reports:

In response to reports that Gov. Rick Scott’s Agency for Health Care Administration was backing down from its legal battle with Planned Parenthood over allegedly illegal abortions at three clinics, AHCA officials sent a letter Wednesday saying they will continue their investigations.

AHCA general counsel Stuart Williams’ letter to Planned Parenthood attorney Julie Gallagher says that the agency still believes the clinics performed abortions for which they were not licensed, despite an earlier letter that led Planned Parenthood to drop its request that a judge intervene to stop license sanctions from going forward.

“Your client, Planned Parenthood, continues to misrepresent to the media that AHCA has changed its position, and Planned Parenthood clinics in Florida may now provide unauthorized second trimester abortions. This is false,” the letter says.

A letter sent Tuesday and later released to the public says that AHCA considers abortions performed in the first 14 weeks after the last normal menstrual period to be in the first trimester, consistent with state regulations.

Planned Parenthood clinics in St. Petersburg, Naples and Fort Myers, which only have licenses for first-trimester abortions, were accused Aug. 5 by AHCA of performing procedures in the second trimester of pregnancies. The pregnancies in question were performed in the 13th week.

The organization that has released six videos exposing the scandal of Planned Parenthood selling aborted babies and their body parts has released a new undercover video today with another shocking discovery. This latest video catches the nation’s biggest abortion business harvesting the brain of an aborted baby who was still alive.

The video, which follows Senate Democrats defeating a bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood, makes it appear the Planned Parenthood abortion business may be selling the “fully intact” bodies of unborn babies purposefully born alive and left to die.

Meanwhile, two committees in the House of Representatives have already launched investigations of Planned Parenthood. One committee is looking into whether or not the abortion business is breaking federal law by altering abortion procedures to better obtain aborted baby body parts for sale. Another committee, among other things, is investigating the Obama administration and whether there is any connection between it and the abortion giant.

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform was to know if the Obama administration, via the Department of Health and Human Services, provided any federal grants to Planned Parenthood that ultimately went to pay for the sales of aborted baby body parts and if they were used by Planned Parenthood to “support transactions involving fetal tissue.”

The expose’ videos catching Planned Parenthood officials selling the body parts of aborted babies have shocked the nation.

As LifeNews reported, the first video of undercover footage shows Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted unborn children and admitting she uses partial-birth abortions to supply intact body parts.

In the second video, Planned Parenthood doctor Mary Gatter discusses the pricing of aborted baby body parts — telling the biotech company officials that the prices for such things as a baby’s liver, head or heart are negotiable. She also tells the officials that she could talk with the Planned Parenthood abortion practitioners to potentially alter the abortion procedure to kill the baby in a way that would best preserve those body parts after the unborn child is killed in the abortion.

So far, 12 states have responded to the Planned Parenthood videos and launched investigations into their abortion and organ harvesting business including South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Massachusetts, KansasMissouri, Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, Texas and Louisiana. The district attorney in Houston Texas is also investigating after the Houston-based Planned Parenthood abortion facility was caught selling aborted babies.

Congress has expanded its investigation into the Planned Parenthood abortion business and five states have revoked taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood’s abortion business, including Utah, Arkansas, Alabama, New Hampshire and Louisiana and Iowa’s governor has ordered a review of Planned Parenthood funding.

The full, unedited videos have confirmed that revelations that some aborted baby remains sold by Planned Parenthood go to biotech companies for the purpose of creating “humanized” mice. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood has been exposed as having sold body parts from aborted babies for as much as 15 years.

The federal law that technically prohibits the sale of aborted babies and their body parts was written by a pro-abortion Congressman decades ago and essentially spells out a process by which sellers of aborted baby body parts can meet certain criteria that allows the sales to be legal. That’s why a Colorado congressman has introduced legislation to totally ban the sales of aborted baby body parts.
