Democrat Senator: I Refuse to Watch Videos Exposing Planned Parenthood Selling Babies

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York is an abortion extremist, meaning she supports abortion all the time and for virtually any reason. The second-term Democratic Senator has voted pro-abortion 23 times and previously supported an omnibus abortion bill that if enacted and upheld by the federal courts, would invalidate nearly all state and federal limitations on abortion, including waiting periods, bans on late-term abortions and women’s right-to-know laws.

That is why it is no surprise that Sen. Gillbrand is standing with Planned Parenthood in the wake of revelations about their organ harvesting business.

In fact, she even used the abortion company’s scandal as a fundraising tool to help her pro-abortion friends win Senate races.

As LifeNews previously reported, Sen. Gillbrand sent out an email that said, “I’m confident that if we had more women leading in Washington, we would not still be dealing with the right wing’s efforts to trample women’s health care. So with Tammy Duckworth, Donna Edwards and Kamala Harris all running historic races to take back our Democratic Senate, I’m telling you we need to do everything we can to help these women win.” She also mentioned that the Congressional effort to defund Planned Parenthood was making her head explode.

Then, on August 11th, Sen. Gillibrand said she fully supports federal funding for Planned Parenthood even though she hasn’t actually watched the videos showing their top officials negotiating the sale of babies victimized in abortions. The Blaze reports that Sen. Gillibrand said she has not seen any of the footage; and when asked if she was going, she replied “no.”

She added, “I think what Planned Parenthood does around the country is provide health care for millions of women who have no access to health care at all. And, only a very small part of their budget goes to abortion services. 97 percent of their budget is focused on basic health care. Anyone who wants to defund Planned Parenthood, wants to defund health care for women across the United States.”

Unfortunately, Sen. Gillbrand isn’t the first politician to admit to not watching the Planned Parenthood videos. Hillary Clinton’s campaign spokeswoman, Karen Finney, told MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts that the former Secretary of State hasn’t watched any of the footage from the Center for Medical Progress either.

In the video below, watch how Sen. Gillbrand responds when reporters ask her if she has watched the Planned Parenthood footage.
