After one of the expose videos caught a Houston, Texas Planned Parenthood officials arranging for the sales of aborted babies and dissecting babies it had aborted and planned to ship off for sale to a biotech firm, the Harris County district attorneys office has launched an investigation.

The Houston, Texas Planned Parenthood abortion center was exposed in a new shocking video released today that catches a Planned Parenthood official discussing how the abortion business sells “fully intact” aborted babies.

The video, which follows Senate Democrats defeating a bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood, makes it appear the Planned Parenthood abortion business may be selling the “fully intact” bodies of unborn babies purposefully born alive and left to die.

Planned Parenthood could be breaking the federal law known as the Born Alive Infants Protection Act that requires abortion clinics, hospitals and other places that do abortions to provide appropriate medical care for a baby born alive after a failed abortion or purposefully birthed to “let die.” That would be one of the potential ways Planned Parenthood could produce a “fully intact” baby to sell to StemExpress for research. Most “crunchy” abortion methods would do damage to the baby’s body.

Now, Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson has announced that her office will start a criminal investigation into Planned Parenthood. The announcement came after Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick asked for the DA’s office to open an immediate criminal investigation.

Here’s more:

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office and Texas Rangers have agreed to assist in the investigation.

“It is not clear at this time what, if any, crimes have been committed at the Gulf Coast facility. That is why I am initiating this investigation.” Anderson said. “As we begin this process, the first step will be to obtain the complete unedited version of the video that has prompted this investigation.”

“I want to assure everyone in Houston that I will use every resource allocated to this office to conduct a thorough investigation and should we find that laws were broken, we will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.” Anderson said.

Patrick said in a statement:

“A fifth undercover video has been released by the Center for Medical Progress discussing the gruesome and barbaric work of Planned Parenthood and what appears to be its profiteering from selling body parts from aborted babies. In this video, taped at the Houston Planned Parenthood Center, the Gulf Coast Director of Research, Melissa Farrell, discusses selling entire aborted fetuses for profit.

“Her quote, ‘If we alter our process, and we are able to obtain intact fetal cadavers, then we can make it part of the budget.’

“As a result, this morning I am asking Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson to immediately initiate a criminal investigation of Planned Parenthood.

“We recently held a hearing in the Texas Senate Health and Human Services Committee to begin our own discovery of the facts involving this issue. Planned Parenthood did not accept an invitation to testify.

“This newest video makes it clear it is time for prosecutors to launch a criminal investigation in Harris County immediately.”

The fifth undercover video in the controversy over Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby parts shows the Director of Research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, Melissa Farrell, advertising the Texas Planned Parenthood branch’s track record of fetal tissue sales, including its ability to deliver fully intact aborted babies.

In the video, actors posing as representatives from a human biologics company meet with Farrell at the abortion-clinic headquarters of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in Houston to discuss a potential partnership to harvest fetal organs.
