On July 28, Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) criticized Hillary Clinton’s support of Planned Parenthood and called on her to refund any donations she has received from the abortion giant. He said, “Hillary Clinton’s hands are stained by accepting this money. She needs to immediately return every red cent she has received from Planned Parenthood employees.”
As LifeNews previously reported, in 2009 Clinton received Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger award and has been given more campaign money from the abortion company than all of her competitors. In a statement, Sen. Rand commented on Clinton’s influx of money from the group and explained what he believes she should do with that money now.
He said, “She’s gotten over $10,000 in Planned Parenthood donations that we can find. My guess is that if you add up donations from people who are employed by Planned Parenthood, you’d find even more. The ones we found are prominent donors. This happens all the time on the right, where some unsavory organization gives money, and everyone says: Give it back. She ought to be asked whether she’s going to do that.”
Sen. Paul also demanded that Clinton return the money on Twitter:
Today I call on @HillaryClinton to return money she’s raised from Planned Parenthood!

In an interview with a New Hampshire newspaper, Hillary Clinton commented on the Planned Parenthood videos showing their top executives negotiating the sale of babies victimized in abortion for research.
Clinton has defended the Planned Parenthood abortion business for a second time – this time calling the three undercover videos showing the abortion company selling body parts from aborted babies “disturbing” but saying “they do really good work.”
She said, “Planned Parenthood is answering questions and will continue to answer questions. I think there are two points to make. One, Planned Parenthood for more than a century has done a lot of really good work for women: cancer screenings, family planning, all kinds of health services. And this raises not questions about Planned Parenthood so much as it raises questions about the whole process, that is, not just involving Planned Parenthood, but many institutions in our country.”
Clinton did not say which images from the videos were disturbing or why they were disturbing to her. Instead, she shifted into a defense of the Planned Parenthood abortion business — without mentioning that its main business is abortion.
Later Clinton refused to rebuke Planned Parenthood and said that they provide “important services” to women.
She explained, “I don’t have all the facts but Planned Parenthood has apologized for the insensitivity of the employee who was taped and they will continue to answer questions for congress and others, but for more than a century Planned Parenthood has provided essential services for women. Not just reproductive health services, including access to affordable family planning, but cancer screenings, for example and other health checkup.”
Currently, Sen. Rand is working with other pro-life members of the Senate to defund Planned Parenthood.
He told Breitbart News, “I’m horrified by these videos and and everybody is. When I think of ultrasound, I think of the pictures of my kids before they were born and the happiness we had. To imagine that doctors are using ultrasound to manipulate the body around, turn the body around to take body parts from a baby, it just — it sickens me. And so, I’ve been fighting to defund Planned Parenthood. I don’t think they should get any taxpayer dollars. And we got good news today, we are going to get a vote on this. The Senate will vote on defunding Planned Parenthood before we leave in August.”
Last week Clinton defended the Planned Parenthood abortion business after a shocking new expose’ video caught Planned Parenthood’s top doctor describing how the abortion business sells the body parts of aborted babies.
