In New York, Senator Kristen Gillbrand decided it was a good idea to use the recent Planned Parenthood videos as a fundraising tool. The Weekly Standard reports that Sen. Gillbrand sent out an email urging her Democratic friends to help pro-abortion women win upcoming Senate races.
She writes, “I’m confident that if we had more women leading in Washington, we would not still be dealing with the right wing’s efforts to trample women’s health care. So with Tammy Duckworth, Donna Edwards and Kamala Harris all running historic races to take back our Democratic Senate, I’m telling you we need to do everything we can to help these women win.”
Additionally, Sen. Gillbrand said that the congressional investigation of Planned Parenthood “makes my head explode.” Of course, the pro-abortion Senator didn’t mention why Congress is investigating the abortion company; instead, she blamed Republicans for undercutting Planned Parenthood.

The problem with this is the Planned Parenthood videos should be disturbing to everyone, regardless of their political affiliation or view on abortion. As LifeNews previously reported, in the first video Planned Parenthood’s medical director, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, tells actors posing as buyers from a human biologics company that their abortionists are very skilled at obtaining body parts during abortions. She said, “I’d say a lot of people want liver. And for that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they’ll know where they’re putting their forceps. The kind of rate-limiting step of the procedure is calvarium. Calvarium—the head—is basically the biggest part.”
Nucatola concludes, “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”
Then, in a second video, the Medical Director for Planned Parenthood in California refers to a “less crunchy” technique that abortionists use to get intact body parts. Finally, the last video shows a Planned Parenthood technician sorting through “tissue” collected after a first trimester abortion. The footage features Dr. Savita Ginde, who is the medical director of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains (PPRM).

Currently, PPRM is one of the largest and wealthiest Planned Parenthood affiliates and operates abortion facilities in Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Nevada. Dr. Ginde tells the actors that she wants to charge per “tissue sample” because that will bring in the most money. She said, “I think the per-item [pricing] works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.”
According to National Right to Life, Sen. Gillbrand has voted against life 23 times in the U.S. Senate. During her time in the House of Representatives, she voted to overturn the Mexico City Policy, which required more than 600 groups that receive State Department taxpayer funding to pledge not to promote or perform abortions with it. Abortion advocates objected to the measure for years during the Bush administration because they want to use the funds to do abortions overseas or lobby pro-life nations to reverse their laws against unlimited abortions.
