Apparently Planned Parenthood is still popular despite new videos showing their executives negotiating the sale of aborted babies’ body parts.
The Weekly Standard reports that the abortion company hired a Democratic polling firm to find out if Americans wanted to defund Planned Parenthood in light of the new information.
In the poll the voters were asked the following question:
Some Republicans in Congress say that because of the undercover videos released by the Center for Medical Progress, there should be an immediate vote to end all government funding for Planned Parenthood, including for services Planned Parenthood provides, such as cancer screenings and family planning. Do you strongly agree, somewhat agree, somewhat disagree, or strongly disagree with the Republicans who say Congress should vote immediately vote to end all government funding for Planned Parenthood, including for services Planned Parenthood provides, such as cancer screenings and family planning?
The results are literally unbelievable. The poll found that 64% of Americans still want federal funding to go toward Planned Parenthood. Of course, the abortion giant didn’t mention in the question what the videos revealed nor did they even use the word “abortion.” Instead, they bragged about their “services” to women and highlighted that Republicans wanted their business to lose funding.
As LifeNews previously reported, Planned Parenthood has been scrambling in the aftermath of three videos released by the Center for Medical Progress that expose the organization’s disregard for human life. In one video, Planned Parenthood’s medical director, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, tells actors posing as buyers from a human biologics company that their abortionists are very skilled at obtaining body parts during abortions. She said, “I’d say a lot of people want liver. And for that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they’ll know where they’re putting their forceps. The kind of rate-limiting step of the procedure is calvarium. Calvarium—the head—is basically the biggest part.”
Nucatola concludes, “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”
Then, in a second video, the Medical Director for Planned Parenthood in California refers to a “less crunchy” technique that abortionists use to get intact body parts. Finally, the last video shows a Planned Parenthood technician sorting through “tissue” collected after a first trimester abortion. The footage features Dr. Savita Ginde, who is the medical director of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains (PPRM). Currently, PPRM is one of the largest and wealthiest Planned Parenthood affiliates and operates abortion facilities in Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Nevada. Dr. Ginde tells the actors that she wants to charge per “tissue sample” because that will bring in the most money. She said, “I think the per-item [pricing] works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.”
In light of all this information, it’s hard to imagine that Planned Parenthood has overwhelming support from Americans right now. However, you shouldn’t take my word for it— if Planned Parenthood says they are popular, it must be true!
