On June 8, Trending News Portal shared pictures of an abandoned baby that was found in a trash bin, surrounded by left over food and garbage Thankfully, residents that lived nearby rescued the baby and brought him to safety. The Facebook user that first posted the picture goes by Miss Black Heart JPA and 4,873 people shared the disturbing photo.

Unfortunately, there isn’t any information about where the baby was found or about his future. Hopefully the child will land in the arms of a loving adoptive family or by relatives who will cherish the baby. Fortunately, additional photos below show the baby survived and looking healthy.

The story follows one in Russia of a baby found abandoned and covered in ants. And in Rhode Island, the Catholic Church recently held a funeral for a baby who had been abandoned and died.

As LifeNews previously reported, in the United States alone there are over 120,000 orphans and 400,000 children that live without permanent families. While foster care and orphanages give children a temporary place to live, their need for a forever family doesn’t just go away. Children need consistent comfort, support, and love, and they don’t always get that in foster care.
