Republican presidential candidate Scott Walker thinks ultrasound images of unborn babies are “cool” but the Planned Parenthood abortion business disagrees.
Walker gave an interview, during which he talked about how amazing technology is nowadays that people are able to show the very first picture of their baby to friends and family — an ultrasound picture of their baby before birth. But the abortion giant Planned Parenthood trashed Walker and took his words out of context by attempting to make it appear Walker wanted to mandate ultrasounds before an abortion.
During an interview with pro-life radio talk show host Dana Loesch, Walker talked about a pro-life bill he signed to allow women considering an abortion a chance to see the ultrasound of their baby beforehand. When used in pregnancy centers, women who may be contemplating an abortion change their mind and have their baby most of the time.
“The thing about that, the media tried to make that sound like that was a crazy idea,” Walker said. “Most people I talk to, whether they’re pro-life or not, I find people all the time who’ll get out their iPhone and show me a picture of their grandkids’ ultrasound and how excited they are, so that’s a lovely thing. I think about my sons who are 19 and 20, and we still have their first ultrasounds. It’s just a cool thing out there.”
“We just knew if we signed that law, if we provided the information, that more people if they saw that unborn child would make a decision to protect and keep the life of that unborn child,” Walker said.
That sounds like a good thing, but Planned Parenthood, realizing that such a bill cuts into the bottom line of its abortion business, lashed out at Walker on Twitter.

But here’s the rub. The bill Walker signed didn’t force women to have an ultrasound.
As one study shows, 99% of Planned Parenthood abortion facilities do them before an abortion to determine the age of the baby at the time of the abortion. So Planned Parenthood already “forces” women to have a pre-abortion ultrasound. The only question is whether the abortionist will let the women see the screen with the image of her unborn baby so she can make a fully informed decision about whether or not to abort her child. Planned Parenthood’s zeal to deny women that information is obvious yet again.
