Pro-Abortion Groups are Panicked Because Babies May Not be Killed in Late-Term Abortions

All over Washington today, pro-abortion groups are panicking because a group of babies might not be killed. Yes, you read that right: because they might NOT be killed!

You see, tomorrow the U.S. House will vote on a bill that would save unborn babies who are capable of feeling pain as they are killed in an abortion. Medical science suggests that occurs at least by 20 weeks after conception.

The bill would save their lives! The enormity of that – saving thousands of human beings from a gruesome and, at that age, a very painful death. That’s cause for great joy, right?

Not according to pro-abortion groups.

One group, the Center for Reproductive Rights, called it “a dangerous, sweeping bill that would outlaw abortion after 20 weeks in nearly every case.”

They’re calling for abortion supporters to sign petitions so they can create “a list of names that can be read out loud by members of Congress to amplify the broad opposition to the ban.”

Think about that. Are pro-abortion members of Congress really going to go on the floor and read name after name of people who oppose the bill? Is that how they’re going to use their floor time? Do they not have arguments they can make about the bill itself?

No, they don’t.

They would have to argue that the pain a baby suffers doesn’t matter. Or that his or her life doesn’t matter.

They would have to argue that we as a nation should go on record to say it’s OK to slaughter – and in most abortions at this age, it literally is slaughter by dismemberment – thousands upon thousands of innocent members of the human family.

“Barbaric” doesn’t begin to describe that.

While they’re gathering their petitions in support of methods of abortion they don’t even have the honesty to describe to their own supporters, National Right to Life has been out among the people, exposing the brutality of late abortions and getting our supporters to call, write, and email members of the House of Representatives en masse in support of the bill.

We’re educating America what abortion really does to an innocent unborn baby, and we’re bringing closer the day when these brutal abortions are banned and never threaten the life of a little child again.

But we need your help to get there. You can contact your House member here to ask him or her to vote for H.R. 36, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.
