Planned Parenthood performed two abortions on an underage victim of sexual abuse but failed to report the rape to authorities.

The information surfaced in court documents which showed that a California man, convicted of sexually abusing two of his daughters, took the younger one to Planned Parenthood for two abortions without reporting their pregnancies to authorities.

In June of 2012, Edgar Ramirez was given life without the possibility of parole after he was convicted of attempted murder, committing a lewd act on a child under the age of 15, possession of obscene matter depicting a minor, and two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a minor under the age of 14.

The charges in this case arose from about seven years of sexual abuse by Ramirez of his daughter J.R. and about one year of sexual abuse of his younger daughter K.R. The abortions focused on Ramirez’s abuse of K.R.

According to court documents, K.R. began living with her sister and her brother when she was seven but by 2010, both siblings had moved away and the 13-year-old was left to live alone with Ramirez. Within days, the pedophile began sexually assaulting the young teen almost daily telling her that she could be his wife and his daughter.

Court documents show that by July of 2010 the 13-year-old had an abortion at a Planned Parenthood clinic. She said that she did not tell clinic staff that her father had impregnated her, but instead made up a story about having a boyfriend her own age.

However, rather than reporting the pregnancy for possible abuse, the Planned Parenthood abortionist simply performed the procedure and advised K.R. not to have sex for three weeks after her abortion. Remember, she is only 13 year-old.

Although the court document does not say who took the teen to Planned Parenthood we do know that she went back into the care of Ramirez who resumed having sex with her a “couple of days later,” the documents states.

During the last weeks of October of that same year, court records indicate that Ramirez again impregnated K.R. and on December 8, 2010, the young child was taken to Planned Parenthood for another abortion at six weeks of pregnancy.

After the abortion, the Planned Parenthood doctor implanted an intrauterine device to prevent additional pregnancies, the document states.

Ramirez was finally arrested March 16, 2011, months after K.R.’s second abortion and only after the victim’s older sister (J.R.), who had also been sexually abused, reported his conduct toward her to the police.

For years, Life Dynamics, Inc., has documented how Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry covers for child sexual predators.

The most recent report, entitled, The Cover-Up of Child Sexual Abuse, reveals how Planned Parenthood’s refusal to comply with mandatory reporting laws is having profound, real-world consequences for the victims of child sexual abuse.

In the Ramirez case, the failure to report the victim’s pregnancy and abortion to authorities caused the 13-year-old victim to endure additional sexual assaults, a second pregnancy and another abortion.

According to Life Dynamics, experts who study this issue, say that it is almost universally accepted that sexual predators who target children almost never stop on their own. Instead, they continue until they are stopped by someone else. As demonstrated in the Edgar Ramirez case as well as the other cases Life Dynamics’ outlines in the report.

Included in the criminal cases Life Dynamics reviewed for their report, are several instances where pedophiles used Planned Parenthood to cover their crimes.

The criminal cases summaries where Planned Parenthood failed to report sexual abuse include a young girl who was raped for an additional year and a half after her 44-year-old abuser took her to Planned Parenthood for an abortion. In another case, a kidnap victim was taken to Planned Parenthood after her abuser sexually assaulted her at the age of 15-years-old.
