In 2014, Baby Aiden was born at 24-weeks due to a violent car accident. His parents, Trent and Jessica Duncan, were very concerned because they knew statistics showed that babies born that early only have a 50/50 chance of survival. Aiden weighed a tiny 1 pound 3 ounces when he was born.

After the car accident, Aiden was cared for at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Thankfully, the Duncan’s daughter, Brooklynn, was not injured in the accident.

Now, Aiden is doing well and is getting ready to celebrate his first birthday. His survival is truly miraculous, which is why Green Shoe Studio decided to write a song about his birth.
