In Australia, Kate and David Ogg had been trying to conceive for three years when they found out they were expecting twins. They were thrilled and Kate went on to have a healthy pregnancy.
However, at 26-weeks she went into labor and was rushed to the hospital. Once she arrived, doctors told her that her son, Jamie, didn’t make it so she held him close and asked her husband to get in the bed with her.
She said, “I wanted as much body heat around this baby as possible. I moved his ear to my heart…and cried and cried.” Kate and David told little Jamie all about his twin sister and about the plans they had for him. Miraculously, while they were holding him, he opened his eyes and grabbed David’s hand.
