In July, Anna and Josh Duggar are expecting their fourth child together. Josh Duggar is the son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, from TLC’s popular reality show, 19 Kids and Counting. Anna told PEOPLE that their family was divided when it came to guessing the sex of their baby.

She said, “Josh thought it was a boy, I thought it was a girl.” She added that her daughter, Mackynzie, wanted a girl and her son, Michael wanted a boy.

However, now the couple knows for sure that they’re having a girl!

According to PEOPLE magazine, at their last ultrasound the couple asked the technician to put the results in an envelope to surprise the rest of their family at a gender reveal party. Anna said, “I feel so good right now. And we can feel the baby move now, which is fun for the kids to get to feel their little sister moving around.”

Previously, Josh said that of the biggest blessings is to have kids and teach them to serve God and others. He added, “You can have a career, and be famous and have lots of money, but that will fade. Children will be there. When we were young, we would visit nursing homes with my family and when I talked to people there, the number one joy they wanted to share was their children and family. And those who didn’t have children expressed the greatest regret. We want to be the best parents we can be.”

As LifeNews previously reported, the Duggars have been very vocal about their pro-life views; and Josh Duggar has been interested in politics since he was young, when his father was a two-term Arkansas state representative and a candidate for U.S. Senate. In 2006, Josh founded a part-time consulting firm called Strategic Political Services. He also worked as a surrogate during the 2012 Republican primaries for former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA).

In 2013, Josh moved his family from Arkansas to Washington, D.C., where he now works as the executive director of the Family Research Council (FRC). When Josh started, he said, “I’m very excited about joining FRC Action and working to promote the values that have always been close to my heart and my family. In this capacity, I will be engaging the grassroots and taking the message of faith, family and freedom all across America.”

When Josh joined FRC, Tony Perkins commented on his new position with the organization. He said, “Josh and his wife Anna have been an inspiration to millions of Americans who regularly tune in to see the Duggar family’s show, and all of us at FRC and FRC Action have long appreciated their commitment to the pro-family movement. We welcome him to the FRC Action team and look forward to taking our grassroots outreach to the next level.”
