A woman who was feeling extreme guilt and remorse about taking her own child’s life in an abortion has killed a pregnant mom and cut her baby out of her womb.
Nathaly Cartas Leon (below right) met Guadalupe Salinas Hernandez, 17, on Facebook under the pretense of going to her home to purchase items for her baby’s nursery. Hernandez hit Nathaly, 20, over the head, then stabbed her several times killing her. She eventually cut the baby out of Nathaly’s womb and the crime wasn’t discovered until she went to the hospital and claimed she had given birth to a stillborn baby.

A heavily pregnant young woman was killed and had her baby cut from her womb by a jealous teenager who was angry at having aborted her own child.
Nathaly Cartas Leon, 20, was eight months pregnant and looking forward to the birth of her child when she met 17-year-old Guadalupe Salinas Hernandez on Facebook.
She made contact with Hernandez while looking for items for the baby’s nursery and went to the teenagers home. But Nathaly was attacked as soon as she walked through the door.
Hernandez hit the pregnant woman over the head with a blunt instrument, and then stabbed her several times, before cutting her unborn baby from the womb.
The horrific killing, which happened in the city of Reynosa in the north-eastern Mexican state of Tamaulipas, has shocked the entire country.

Although Nathaly had been reported missing, it was only when Hernandez turned up at hospital claiming that the baby had been stillborn that the crime was discovered. Doctors quickly realized that the teenager was not the mother of the baby as she claimed.
Several years ago a few cases cropped up in the United States of women who befriended pregnant mothers only to subject them to horrific violence resulting in their murders and the assailant attempting to cut their unborn baby out of their womb. This is the second such crime in Mexico in recent months.
Previously, 29-year-old Maria Rodriguez confessed to killing pregnant Nadia Avila and admits to having stabbed Avila with a knife and attempted to steal her baby but cutting the unborn child out of her womb. Avila was eight months pregnant at the time of the brutal attack and both she ad her unborn child died as a result.
Rordiguez reportedly hatched the plot after lying to her family and telling them she was pregnant. She lured Avila (below right with her husband) to her home with a promise of providing her with clothes for the baby.
