Last week a Denver judge sentenced Mervin Edy Wolf to sixty years in prison for sexually assaulting a child and recording her abuse over a seven year period. As LifeNews previously reported, Wolf was arrested after the victim came forward and reported the abuse.
During an FBI investigation, authorities discovered that the girl was forced to “perform and participate in an escalating pattern of sexual acts which Wolf would photograph or video tape.”
In January 2013, the girl called Wolf because she was concerned she was pregnant with his child. He then mailed her two pregnancy tests and told her that if she was pregnant, he would pay for an abortion. She took the tests and learned that she was not pregnant.
Tragically, Wolf and his wife were foster parents and had two other children in their care. After the first victim came forward, those children revealed that they were also abused by Wolf; but no charges were filed. Prior to sentencing, District Judge Raymond Moore, said Wolf’s actions “were a special kind of sick.” He added, “You were born a free man. I will not have you die that way. I view you as being completely out of control.”
Wolf, who asked for mercy, had pleaded guilty to charges of traveling with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct and production of child pornography.
The girl was living with California relatives of Wolf, who moved to Colorado from that state in 1999, court records show.
Wolf traveled twice a year to California for Christmas holidays and summer vacations for seven years. He coaxed her to remove her clothing when she was 7 and, starting the next year, began sexually assaulting her. He would sexually assault her and take video of the abuse.
“To do it with your relatives in the next room is a special kind of sick,” Moore told Wolf. The girl, who is now 15, stood at a lectern and read a letter to the judge, describing the time when he sent her two pregnancy tests and offered to pay for an abortion if needed.
“Can you imagine what it was like to be an eighth-grader and believe you might be pregnant by your molester?” the girl said.
She said she has feelings of sadness and anger, has nightmares and is afraid to be alone. She worries about the images possibly being on the Internet.
“He deserves to be put away,” the girl said.
The girl went to authorities this year when she learned he was coming to visit. She “explained she was afraid Wolf would start molesting (her) younger sibling,” according to the complaint.
Unfortunately, studies show that 50-80% of girls under the age of 15 who become pregnant, are impregnated by adult men; and cases like this prove that predators use abortion to hide child molestation and rape. Additionally, the abortion industry is known for covering up and participating in the exploitation of these young girls.
For example, Planned Parenthood, which is the nation’s largest abortion business, has been caught aiding sexual predators.
Earlier this year, the abortion giants Colorado affiliate (Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains) was sued after failing to inquire about or report the suspected sexual abuse of a 13-year-old child by her stepfather. Instead of protecting the girl, they performed a secret abortion and sent her right back to her abuser.
