Nate and Ruth Reutter are missionaries in the Brazilian Amazon rain forest. When Ruth was pregnant with their first child, the couple celebrated to raise a child in the mission field as they ministered to local people.

reuttersThe joy of doing God’s work and expanding family combined for so much excitement. When the time came to welcome their new daughter, Ruth went into labor but didn’t dilate. The couple figured Ruth could have a Cesearian section and deliver the baby.

However, when their little girl was born and didn’t cry, Ruth knew something was wrong. Heartbroken at their stillbirth, the Reutters continued in their ministry and, as their video below shows, they are learning to trust God again. Watch as they grow in their faith and see the joy at the end of a painful journey.
