Mother of Portugal Soccer Star Cristiano Ronaldo Tried to Abort Him, Tried to Drink Enough Beer to Kill Him

The mother of Portugal’s soccer star Christiano Ronaldo admits in a new tell-all that she attempted to abort him by drinking enough beer and running around in an attempt to cause a miscarriage.

Ronaldo is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a forward for Spanish club Real Madrid and captains the Portugal national team, which recently participated in the World Cup. He became the world’s most expensive player when he moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid in 2009.

cristianoronaldoHis mother Dolores Aveiro writes in a new biography that she drank beer and ran around in attempt to end pregnancy after doctors refused to help her. Aveiro made the admission in a tell-all biography, titled Mother Courage, which was released in Portugal today.

Speaking at the launch of her book, she said Ronaldo knew of her secret and the pair now reflected on the decision with some humour.

According to the Independent.IE, She said: ‘He told me when he found out, ‘Look mum, you wanted to abort and now I’m the one who’s pulling the purse-strings in the house.’

Averio, whose late husband Dinis died from liver damage caused by alcoholism, also spoke about Ronaldo’s son Cristiano Jr, three.

The footballer has kept the identify of the child’s mother a secret, but his mother revealed that she had picked up the child from a clinic in Florida while Ronaldo was playing in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

She also said that the Portugal and Real Madrid player had asked her to help raise and educate his son.
