Justin Trudeau Stands With China and North Korea for Abortion on Demand

Justin Trudeau’s latest attempt to assure his supporters that he is simply reflecting the so-called Biblical tradition passed on to him by his father is rife with myths and intentional misinterpretations of the law.

On Monday, when most Canadians were commemorating Queen Victoria’s birthday Mr. Trudeau was busy trying to recover the ground he lost after showing complete disrespect for one of the pillars of freedom – the freedom of conscience. You will recall that earlier this month Trudeau stated only pro-abortion candidates would be welcomed to run for the Liberal Party under his leadership.

Anyway, Mr. Trudeau sent out a letter with an accompanying petition asking his supporters to stand with him in supporting a woman’s right to choose.  The phrase ‘woman’s right to choose’ has long been one of the rallying calls of the pro-abortion movement even though it should have been rejected long ago. Why? Because it’s incomplete! It is high time that Trudeau and his supporters are forced to have a discussion about what is being chosen.

JustinTrudeau2Think about it. If you walked up to someone on the street and said, “Do you support a woman’s right to take?” I can almost guarantee you the first question they would ask is “Take what?”.

In 2009 the unrestricted right to choose in Canada resulted in nearly 10,000 abortions between 13 and 20 weeks gestation. Keep in mind that the reporting is incomplete with some provinces providing partial or no abortion related data. Almost every other civilized nation and the vast majority of European nations protect fetal rights after 13 weeks gestation. Yet Mr. Trudeau supports the status quo in our country which legally grants unfettered access to abortion for any reason throughout all nine months of pregnancy.

The following is taken from here and is paraphrased to fit this article:

Abortions after the woman is 13 weeks pregnant are performed by a dilation and evacuation procedure. As the fetus grows larger and his or her bones become harder, the baby becomes difficult to extract. The cervix must be opened wider, and the head of the baby must be crushed before it can be removed. Bone fragments are sharp and must be carefully removed to avoid damage to the uterus and cervix. The parts of the baby must be identified upon removal to make sure the abortion is complete. Suction is used for a final clean out of fetal or placental tissue that may remain behind.

So when Mr. Trudeau says “I support a woman’s right to choose”, he stands with the leaders of only North Korea and China in condoning this barbaric practice .  Modern technology allows us a clear window into the womb so thankfully the majority of Canadians understand that this choice is a violation of human rights as no human being should have the power to inflict that kind of choice upon another human being.

It is ridiculous that Justin Trudeau continues to pontificate on abortion without having to defend what ‘choice’ entails or justify his oft-repeated claim that any limitation on a woman’s right to choose to abort her child is inconsistent with the Charter. Mr. Trudeau is either completely ignorant of the law or acting in contempt of it.
