Not only does Michigan Senate candidate Gary Peters enjoy the support of a late-term abortion practitioner, but the state Democratic party is running a commercial featuring the abortionist praising him.
Right to Life of Michigan released a statement today pointing out what it caught in the campaign ad.
“The Michigan Democratic Party recently released a video in which a number of women attack U.S. Senate candidate Terri Lynn Land and praising Congressman Gary Peters, who is also a candidate for U.S. Senate,” RLM says. “One of the women in the ad appears to be abortion clinic owner Renee Chelian. Chelian is the owner of Northland Family Planning, a group of three abortion clinics in the Detroit area which provide abortions through 24 weeks of pregnancy.”
According to the pro-life group, Chelian’s abortion business does about one-fourth of all abortions that take place in Michigan and that recently offered coupons for abortions and employed an abortion practitioner who used bankruptcy to evade malpractice suits.
“While Renee Chelian thinks electing Gary Peters means protecting “your daughters’ future,” Chelian doesn’t believe in protecting all daughters. Every year, thousands of unborn Michigan daughters are killed at her abortion clinics in Michigan and she and her family profit off of it,” RLM says.

At the start of the video the woman below says, “I’m Renee” and later says, “Choosing Gary Peters means protecting my daughters’ and your daughters’ future.”
Below is a photo of Renee Chelian from an article in Bloomberg Business which revealed that Chelian and her husband paid themselves more than $200,000 in 2013 and live in a “6,500-square-foot home in the upscale neighborhood of West Bloomfield.” It appears that Chelian might even wearing the same pink shirt she wore the day of the Bloomberg photo shot.
