The Planned Parenthood abortion business has closed another abortion facility, this time in Oregon. Oregon Right to Life announced today that the abortion center in McMinnville, Oregon has closed.
“Planned Parenthood’s McMinnville health center is now closed. Please visit our nearby health centers in Salem or Beaverton,” the abortion giant announced today on its web site.
Gayle Atteberry, the Executive Director of Oregon Right to Life, emailed LifeNews in response to the good news.
“In 2007 Planned Parenthood opened its doors in the small, quiet community of McMinnville. Pro-lifers were outraged and the McMinnville chapter of Oregon Right to Life was formed,” she said. “The group’s goal was to rid the town of Planned Parenthood within the year. The clinic has been picketed and surrounded by prayer-warriors for seven years now. News of Planned Parenthood’s closure was greeted this week with much thanksgiving.”
“We naively thought it would only take a year to get them to close,” said one pro-lifer who has been faithfully praying at the clinic for all these years, “but we are so grateful to see its closure now and we owe all thanks to God that we are rid of that killing field in our town.”

“Girls who want Planned Parenthood’s “services” will now be directed to the Salem or Portland clinics, which are at the minimum, forty-five minutes away,” Atteberry said, hoping they would go to a local pregnancy center and keep their baby instead.
