Patti is in a very small category. Not only is she one of a small group of people who were spared from being killed in an abortion after her birthmother was raped, but she is now an ardent pro-life advocate.

pattyPatti spends her time now in the 40 Days for Life pro-life prayer campaign praying outside a local Planned Parenthood abortion clinic hoping to tell women considering abortions that they should spare their unborn children. A new video (below) features a short interview with patty as she explains how grateful she is that her birthmother gave her life and placed her with a loving adoptive family.

“As 40 Days for Life unfolds and record numbers of people are praying the Rosary and providing witness to the sanctity of human life outside Planned Parenthood facilities across the nation, a YouTube video report featuring a woman named Patti has emerged,” says Rita Diller of STOPP. “Patti was conceived in rape, but Patty’s mother did not resort to abortion. In fact, she has told Patti that she is the only good thing that came out of that rape. Her mother brought Patti to term and placed her for adoption with a loving Christian family. For that, Patti is eternally grateful.”

“To honor her birthmother for giving her life, and to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, Patti stands outside the Planned Parenthood facility during 40 Days for Life, giving face and voice to those whom many would seek to kill through abortion, supposedly as an act of mercy toward the raped woman. We thank God for Patti and her commitment to being a voice for the thousands aborted because of rape exceptions,” Diller added.
