A Wisconsin man sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl and then gave her $700 for an abortion after she became pregnant in an attempt to hide his crimes.

This is just the latest in cases pro-life advocates have seen over the years of abortions used as a means of covering up rape and the abortion industry, including Planned Parenthood, has been willing to perform abortions without asking any questions and often without informing authorities of the crimes.

Local media have more details on this particular case:

ryancollinsAfter meeting a 13-year-old girl in Green Bay for a zombie-themed gathering, a 31-year-old man took her to his Kaukauna residence, started a sexual relationship and gave her $700 for an abortion, police testified Friday during the man’s preliminary court hearing.

Despite his defense attorney’s questioning of whether the sex between Ryan B. Collins and the girl was consensual, Outagamie County Judge Nancy Krueger cleared the way for a trial.

Collins, now 32, is charged with repeated sexual assault of the girl and child enticement. The charges carry a maximum prison sentence of 65 years.

Fox Valley Metro Police officer Jeff Nett was the lone witness at Friday’s hearing. He recounted an investigation that began in December after the teen and her mother reported the assault to the Green Bay Police Department.

The girl told police that Collins would pick her up in Green Bay and drive back to his residence, where they started having sex about two weeks after they met, according to the criminal complaint. She initially told Collins she was 18 or 19 years old. When she eventually told him she was 16, he “did not seem to care” because they were “in love,” the complaint stated.

Collins, who told police he had sex with the girl, said he took her at her word that she was an adult and didn’t know she was underage until her mother called to say her daughter was pregnant, police said. The mother found out about the relationship and the girl’s pregnancy on Facebook, the criminal complaint stated.
