When LifeNews featured the story of Baby Noah, who died from a spontaneous miscarriage on February 20th, 2014, the image went viral as pro-life people shared it with friends and family. Noah’s mother, Lara, named him Noah because it means “rest” and “peace.”

babynoahKristen Benfield is one of the pro-life people who shared the moving image of little Noah, who unfortunately lost his life before he ever had a chance to live one day outside of his mother’s womb. Fortunately, because of Kristen’s desire to share the image of Noah with others, another baby will get that chance who could have been killed in an abortion.

After Kristen shared the image on Facebook, she received a note from a woman named Lara who had been considering an abortion.

“So, not really sure how I know you exactly or why were Facebook friends just know that your 12 week old image and article had a profound effect on me and my current situation. Thank you… Just know that your post has changed my outlook. Thanks girl for more than you know,” her friend Lara emailed her.

Kristen told LifeNews she was elated to know that she was able to play a role in saving a baby from abortion.

“This message was sent to me last night after I shared Lara’s precious baby, Noah on Facebook,” she said. “Little Noah has changed a mind and probably saved a life.”

The image and the baby it saved almost didn’t work out the way Kristen originally hoped.

“God works in mysterious ways! I felt compelled to share Noah’s story with the beautiful picture of him. I actually shared it twice. The first time I shared it his picture didn’t show,” she told LifeNews. “I just knew someone had to see him so I deleted that and shared a different way so everyone could see his picture. I’m so thankful for you guys and the work you’re doing! Even if only one life is saved, it’s all worth it!”
