Texas Right to Life has a new hard-hitting video they have released to tag pro-abortion gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis. The video is a response to Davis saying her pro-life opponent Greg Abbot, who is paralyzed, has never walked a mile in her shoes.

The video helps highlight Davis’s pro-abortion views and her abortion advocacy standing up to filibuster a bill to stop late-term abortions in Texas. Here is the commercial along with a note Texas Right to Life sent LifeNews about its new social media campaign:

Clad in pink sneakers, Wendy Davis became known for her unflinching advocacy of unrestricted abortion access during the summer of 2013 during an 11-hour filibuster in protest of Pro-Life legislation that protects women and saves lives.

Today, the Texas Right to Life PAC is launching a new social media campaign called #LifeFirst to remind voters and concerned citizens of Ms. Davis’s extreme views on abortion.

#LifeFirst spotlights Davis’s strident anti-Life activism.  The video features a young girl who will never experience the milestone “firsts” of Life because she is not guaranteed her first inalienable right, the Right to Life.

Davis criticized Pro-Life gubernatorial candidate, Greg Abbott, saying he had “never walked a mile in my shoes.”  Yet she refuses to allow countless unborn children to ever walk in theirs.

Davis dared to call herself Pro-Life in a conversation with college students in Brownsville because she said she cared “about the Life of every child: every child that goes to bed hungry, every child that goes to bed without a proper education, every child that goes to bed without being able to be a part of the Texas dream….”

She neglected to tell these students that abortion is not a solution to hunger and abortion certainly destroys any possibility of dreams.

Davis’s uncompromising and unapologetic crusade to perpetuate a throwaway culture by opposing Pro-Life laws in Texas means no child’s future, no child’s first steps, and no child’s dreams are guaranteed.

Without the first right, the Right to Life, no other rights matter.
