The Center for Bioethics–for which I am a paid consultant–has done more than any other organization to expose the abuses that exist (alongside the joys) of IVF, surrogacy, and sperm donation.

It has won awards for its previous documentaries on these provocative issues.

The CBC now has just released a new documentary exploring the ups and downs of surrogate motherhood–denigrated and objectified in industry parlance as “gestational carriers.”  It is an important and volatile topic.
