A shocking story out of China today indicates a 10-year-old girl reportedly kicked and abused a toddler boy less than two years of age and then tossed him over the balcony from her 25th-floor residence.

According to news reports, video footage shows a 10-year-old school girl allegedly slamming the boy to the ground, kicking him repeatedly, and throwing him off the 25th floor of a building in Chongqing city in southwest China. The Daily Mail indicates 18-month-old Yuanyuan was left behind in the elevator of the building as his mother removed a bike from the elevator. Before she could get back to her son, the doors closed.

The video footage from the elevator shows an older girl wearing a backpack entering on an upper floor. She holds the boy for a moment before throwing him to the ground and kicking him. Once they reach the 25th floor, she grabs the toddler and reportedly throws him over the balcony.

The broken body of the tiny baby was found in the bushes outside the building and he died at the hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained.

From the news report on the infanticide:

A baby boy was killed after a school girl found him alone in a lift and then allegedly thew him off a balcony.

Yuanyuan, who is thought to be just under two years old, was in a lift with his mother in Chongqing, southwest China.

CCTV footage in the lift shows as his mother was wheeling out his small green bike from the lift the doors abruptly shut.

Seconds before the 10-year-old girl entered the lift and picked up Yuanyuan as the door started to close as his frantic mother sets the bike down.

The grainy black and white footage shows the schoolgirl, who is wearing a backpack, holding the child for a few seconds before slamming him into the ground.

As he struggles to get back up she repeatedly kicks him, hits him and stamps on him.

When the lift doors open on the 25th floor she is seen grabbing Yuanyuan off the metal floor and pushing him out.
