While President Barack Obama was at the White House making a further mess of Obamacare and admitting he was not truthful when he told Americans they could keep their current health insurance policies under Obamacare, Speaker John Boehner has an answer for how to fix the problems.
Repeal Obamacare.

Boehner says the only way to fix the health care law is to scrap it entirely. He spoke shortly before Obama revealed his plan to let insurance companies continue cancelled coverage for millions of Americans.

Part of what Boehner said follows:

“After finally acknowledging he repeatedly misled the American people to sell his health care law, the president is asking Americans to trust him again. The President has absolutely no credibility on his promise. True to form, it appears this is little more than a political response designed to shift blame rather than solve the problem. This problem cannot be papered over by another ream of Washington regulations. Americans losing their coverage because of the president’s health care law need clear, unambiguous legislation that guarantees the plan they have and like will still be allowed. That’s why the House will be voting on the Keep Your Health Plan Act tomorrow, and the president should support it.”

Boehner said the Upton bill is a step on the path to repeal.

He said the House would try to repeal Obamacare by relying on “smart, targeted strikes that split the legislative coalition the president has relied upon to force his health care law on the American people.”

“Remember the strategy for stopping Obamacare we laid out to you back in July. It had two components: Aggressive, coordinated oversight, and targeted legislative strikes aimed at shattering the legislative coalition the president has used to force his law on the nation,” Boehner said. “That plan is being executed as we speak.”
