The Universalist Church has come under criticism for years for taking a strongly pro-abortion position. That criticism will only deepen thanks to a local church in Albion, New York bestowing a humanitarian award on the nation’s biggest abortion business.

The Pullman Memorial Universalist Church in Albion presented its 2013 Humanitarian Award to Planned Parenthood of Albion on Sunday. A local newspaper says the award was “in recognition of the organization providing rape crisis services” — never mind that Planned Parenthood has killed babies conceived in rape for decades and does more than 334,000 abortions a year.

The Planned Parenthood abortion business has also been caught doing abortions on teenage girls who have been victimized by rape and failing to report those rapes to officials to prosecute the perpetrators.

Pullman Memorial Universalist Church also took up a donation for the abortion giant, which its pastor praised in the article on the award.
From an article on the award:

Pastor Lee Richards said, “I am so very proud of this congregation to step up and publicly honor and support this important effort which fills a need that so often goes unrecognized. Most people don’t want to believe that rape or sexual abuse is a problem but statistics such as one in three women and one in six males will be victims of this type of violence fly in the face of such denial.”

A Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in New Jersey that was caught on an undercover phone call willing to do an abortion on a 14-year-old girl who it was told was a victim of statutory rape closed down in August.

In 2002, Life Dynamics conducted an undercover investigation in which we called over 800 Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation facilities across the nation. The results of this survey were appalling. Even though many of these clinics openly acknowledged to our caller that this situation was illegal and they were required to report it to the state, the overwhelming majority readily agreed to conceal this illegal activity.

Planned Parenthood in Manville told the caller, who posed as a 13 year old child impregnated by a 22 year old man, that her “boyfriend’s age was , “None of our concern!”

According to Mark Crutcher, founder of Life Dynamics , “The abortion lobby is engaged in a pedophile protection racket and protecting pedophiles who rape underage girls. These abortion clinics receive money from the federal government. We are literally paying for the rape of our young daughters.”
