Actor Mark Ruffalo has caused quite a stir with his defense of legalized abortion and his mother’s illegal abortion of his sibling.

That Ruffalo defended abortion was bad enough, but that he took up for his mother’s abortion of his sibling was beyond the pale for many pro-lifers. As LifeNews reported, Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America responded to Ruffalo and was shocked he seemingly cared so little that his brother or sister was a victim of abortion.

But she is not alone. Twitchy reported on the tweet Ruffalo sent out with his remarks on abortion and here are some of the reactions from readers:

“I just find it hypocritical to say “it’s a woman’s choice” when it has to do with your own child. Like, if his wife decided to abort his two daughters, he’d be okay with that? The pro-abortion position doesn’t make any sense at all.”

“Wow. What a hero! The Hulk fights against the evils of unborn children! What a brave man!! /sarc”

“Referencing something i said over at Breitbart about separating actors and their roles and getting harder…..dammit it just got harder. I loved him as Banner in the Avengers. Now he has to put on the Asshat of Compliance.”

“If he wants to make a really powerful statement for the Pro-Death advocates, he should practice a little “self-abortion.””

“Gotta love it when MEN are all for abortion. Irresponsible, egotistical, STD infested fools. Here’s an thought… maybe a powerful example would to be step up as a MAN and be responsible for your actions!”

“”Hulk smash baby!” “Hulk no like unborn baby” “Hulk no like men who say abortion evil!”

“I’ve never met a liberal who is “pro abortion.” No, they’re always “pro-CHOICE,” as if doctors are aborting bean bags and not humans. Anything to make the act more “agreeable” and less accurate in its final result. After all, “choice” doesn’t really inform anyone to the end result of an abortion, which of course, is death.”

“Liberals who say “I’m not for abortion but I’m pro choice” make about as much sense as someone who is pro-gun but anti-bullet.”

“Oddly enough, he claims it’s ‘for the children.'”

“Seems as if he wants his daughters to be able to screw around to their hearts’ content and then be able to kill his grandfetuses. He’s all about their ‘freedom’.”
