After attending Human Life International’s REDESSVIDA conference in Mexico City last June for priests and seminarians, Bishop José Maria de la Torre Martin of the Diocese of Aguascalientes in Mexico took new steps to spread the Gospel of Life in his diocese.

The bishop, who made known the impact HLI’s conference had on him, recently invited Comite Nacional Provida (an affiliate organization of HLI in Mexico) to host a two-day pro-life event for priests, seminarians, religious congregations and laity which had excellent results. Bishop José Maria de la Torre attended the seminar along with 120 seminarians, 15 priests, and a number of women religious.

In communicating the success of the event, Cecilia Rodriguez, who leads Comite Nacional Provida in Aguascalientes asked that we, “Continue your prayers for us and for the clergy, so they can be the faithful and holy priests that this world and souls need, and that the Lord asks.”
