Most of the people who attended a small rally today at the Texas capitol to protest a ban on late-term abortions lawmakers are considering were adults. But one mother made her small children hold pro-abortion signs at the protest.
She also had them sporting the burnt orange color abortion activists wore today to standing solidarity with pro-abortion state Senator Wendy Davis, who is leading the charge to keep abortions legal up to the day of birth.
As pro-life Texas activist Ashley Sewell, who provided the picture to LifeNews, says: “The people behind the pro-abortion activities have selected “orange” as their color because this is Austin and we have UT and everyone with breath owns something orange.”
The sign in green below included one of the infamous “Y U No” memes that said, “Hey Rick Perry, Y U NO let women choose what to do with their bodies,” according to local resident Ellen Bartling, who was also on the scene.
Sewell posted some of her observations from the rally on Twitter:
There are toddlers carrying pro-abortion signs at the Texas Capitol today. And they want to say shame on Rick Perry. #Stand4Life

The pro-abortion crowd is painting coat hangers red. #SB5 would have made clinics, doctors safer but they defeated it. #Stand4Life

Hearing a crowd of people at the Capitol cheering the death of babies is literally sickening. #Stand4Life

Sign at the Capitol: “Politicians are not doctors!” And, yet, I thought they were deemed worthy to overhaul our entire health care system…
