The Vermont Right to Life Committee has an important legislative alert.

Next week, the Vermont Senate will vote on whether to accept or reject Oregon-style, doctor-prescribed suicide as passed by the Vermont House. The House version of S.77, doctor-prescribed suicide, is worse and even more dangerous than ever. The vote in the Senate is expected on Tuesday, May 7th.

Thanks to your phone calls and emails, many House members voted against Oregon-style, doctor-prescribed suicide who otherwise would not have, and that is really important. While the vote in the House was 81-64 in favor, that vote was not unexpected, and it is not the end.

Please watch your email and/or postal mail in the next few days for updates on when to contact your Senator(s) and with what message. And please keep those prayers flowing.
