Actress Sarah Jessica Parker, the star of the series Sex and the City, socialized at a gala last week that featured the head of an abortion advocacy group and the editor of Cosmopolitan magazine.

Along with Parker (pictured, on left-hand-side) the event included Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and actress and activist Ashley Judd along with editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, Joanna Coles, and it was an occasion to honor newly-elected pro-abortion members of Congress who emerged victorious in the 2012 election.

A blogger for the pro-abortion political group Emily’s List recounted the vent that took place last Monday:

“In the dining room of a New York City restaurant on Monday, Coles hosted a lunch to celebrate 100 “fun, fearless females.”  Included among the A-list attendees were Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane von Furstenberg, Sallie Krawcheck and author Naomi Wolf,” the blogger wrote. “Along with Governor-elect Maggie Hassan, representatives-elect Grace Meng, Tulsi Gabbard and Elizabeth Esty each had the opportunity to share their experiences and goals.”

The blogger added, “Hassan, a member of the nation’s first all-female delegation in New Hampshire, told the all-female audience, “We don’t need binders full of women, we have ballots full.”

The pro-abortion group praised the Cosmo editor for her support for the candidacies of pro-abortion women. The magazine has a history of spurning women’s ability to take the role of mother in favor of their right to destroy their children’s lives before birth.
