The Obama campaign has quietly released yet another television ad attacking Mitt Romney on the issue of abortion. His campaign has released several ads on the topic during the campaign highlighting his desire to overturn Roe v. Wade and de-fund the Planned Parenthood abortion business.

This new ad is no different — as it spotlights multiple instances where Romney has expressed his support for overturning Roe, the Supreme Court case that allowed virtually unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy and ushered in an era of 55 million abortions.

The latest ad is a response to an ad the Romney campaign put out showing his support for women.

“You know those ads saying Mitt Romney would ban all abortions and contraception seemed a bit extreme, so I looked into it,” the Romney spot said. “Turns out Romney doesn’t oppose contraception at all.”

Obama’s rebuttal ad today replies:

“Which do you believe: what Mitt Romney’s TV ads say about women, or what Romney himself says?” the narrator asks in the latest Obama ad. After the opening clips of Romney saying he supports a “reverse of Roe v. Wade,” and “I will cut off funding to Planned Parenthood,” play.

Obama’s latest spot concludes, “No matter what Mitt Romney’s ads say, we know what he’ll do.”

The Obama campaign has not publicly announced the new ad, as its campaign normally does, but CNN indicates it will air in Florida and Virginia, two battleground states, and appears on Obama’s YouTube page.
