Tim Kaine, the pro-abortion Senate candidate in Virginia, will face a new $200,000 ad campaign exposing his position on abortion, courtesy of the pro-life women’s group Susan B. Anthony List.

The SBA List today announced the launch of a combined $200,000 radio ad and mail campaign to expose Virginia senate candidate Tim Kaine’s support for President Obama’s extreme abortion agenda. The new ad directs voters to www.KaineFactsOnLife.com, a subsection of the SBA List’s newly launched website, www.ObamaFactsOnLife.com.

The website serves as an educational tool for voters seeking to learn more about President Obama and those, like Tim Kaine, on his “extreme team” who stand for taxpayer funding of abortion and attacks on religious liberty and rights of conscience. The $50,000 radio ad campaign will run on Christian and conservative talk radio for two weeks beginning on Monday, while $150,000 will go towards voter contact mail.

“If elected to the U.S. Senate, Tim Kaine will do nothing more than rubberstamp President Obama’s expanding abortion agenda,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, President of the Susan B. Anthony List.

Dannenfelser told LifeNews: “A longtime abortion advocate himself, Tim Kaine even opposes common sense limits to abortion like parental notification laws to protect underage children from abortion. Tim Kaine fully supports the President’s expansion of taxpayer funding for abortion under Obamcare and has refused to support any efforts to protect religious liberty and the rights of conscience. Virginia women and families deserve better than Tim Kaine.”

A partial script of the ad follows:

Voice 1:  Every child deserves the chance to do great things with their lives.

Voice 2:  I would’ve been an inventor.

Voice 3:  I would’ve been a teacher.

Voice 1:  But for over 25,000 Virginia babies, we’ll never know their potential. Their lives were snuffed out last year by an abortion.

Voice 4:  I would’ve been an astronaut.

Voice 5:  I would’ve been a musician.

Voice 1:  Tim Kaine wants to be your next U.S. Senator. If elected, he’ll be a foot soldier in Washington for the abortion industry.

Voice 6:  I would’ve been a pastor.

Voice 7:  I would’ve been a computer programmer.

Voice 1:  Tim Kaine supports Obamacare even though it would pay for abortions with your tax money. And he backs President Obama’s plan to force religious groups to pay for abortion inducing drugs and sterilization…This November, protect innocent lives. This November, stop Tim Kaine.

Tim Kaine, who is running against George Allen for a seat in the U.S. Senate, is attempting to get Virginia voters to believe he is pro-life. With a Republican Senate necessary to move the pro-life legislative agenda in Congress, to approve another pro-life-friendly judge for the Supreme Court and to overturn Obamacare, pro-life groups are working to ensure  GOP majority.

Kaine says on his own web site that he doesn’t want to put any limits on the Roe v. Wade decision that allowed virtually unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy for any reason and has resulted in 55 million abortions.

“I strongly support the right of women to make their own health and reproductive decisions and, for that reason, will oppose efforts to weaken or subvert the basic holding of Roe v. Wade,” Kaine says, adding that he doesn’t support “criminalizing women’s reproductive decisions.”
