MacHeist Sends Funds From Software Buyers to Pro-Abortion Groups

Every year one of the most popular and retweeted and promoted software specials is something known as “MacHeist,” a bundle that’s offered to Mac users for a drastically reduced price—this year’s offer is a $539 value for $29. Filled with apps and software worth a decent amount of money, the company offers these cheap and many Mac lovers buy them. But this year, I hope they don’t.

MacHeist (which is not an Apple product so don’t confuse it with Macs themselves), prides itself on giving part of its proceeds to charity—a big chunk, actually: 25% of each purchase is split among ten charities. That sounds really noble, until you look at the list and find out that at least two of the ten charities getting the software money are fully pro-abortion agencies: The Global Fund for Women and Save the Children.

The GFW isn’t shy about it’s pro-abortion ideology either. Listed among its “accomplishments” GFW says:

Supported advocacy for women’s reproductive rights in 94 countries, including successful efforts to legalize abortion in Mexico City and Colombia.

And this isn’t a surprise based on their mission for abortion. Check it out:

At the GFW, we believe that a woman has the undeniable right to make decisions over her body about her body, including the number and spacing of her children or to interrupt a pregnancy. GFW supports women’s groups in 172 countries carry out this vision to advance women’s health, sexual preferences and reproductive rights.

If I may digress a little bit, I have to ask, how the heck does one “interrupt” a pregnancy? “Oh, doctor, it’s not convenient for me to be pregnant right now. I’d like to interrupt it and return to the show later.”

Of course not, which is why GFW says that their work included, “Protect women’s right to reproductive choice. Work to decriminalize and expand access to safe abortion.”

They aren’t shy about their vision for abortion, and you won’t be either if you buy MacHeist.

Save The Children isn’t much better. With its ironic name it’s actually an organization that only wants to save some children; we’ve written in the past of its ties to abortion and population control. This article details its history with these things and notes:

Save the Children has a working relationship with what it calls “prominent international organizations.” Several of these groups are actively pro-abortion, including Better World Fund, Center for Reproductive Rights, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Population Action International, and the U.S. Committee for UNICEF.

There are so many worthy charities in the world that don’t try to destroy life before it can come forth. It amazes me that businesses continue to choose the few fringe ones that fund death.

Don’t let MacHeist heist your money for abortion.
