Today, the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund, a national pro-life political action committee, announced additional candidate endorsements for the 2012 election cycle.

SBA has already endorsed a number of candidates for the House and Senate and added several more, including one candidate for governor:

Jonathon Paton (AZ-01)
Martha McSally (AZ-02)
Vernon Parker (AZ-09)
Ron DeSantis (FL-06)
Kevin Kramer (ND-AL)
Ovide Lamontagne (NH-Gov)
Jim Renecci (OH-16)
John Koster (WA-01)
Tommy Thompson (WI-Sen)

“Both pro-life advocates and leaders in the fields of business, public service, and military service, these candidates understand the value of every human life and are committed to protecting the unborn and their mothers,” said SBA List Candidate Fund President Marjorie Dannenfelser.  “The SBA List Candidate Fund is proud to endorse these leaders and we look forward to seeing them advance lifesaving legislation and policy in the years ahead.”

During the 2010 election cycle, SBA List spent $11 million and was involved in 90 races, 62 of which resulted in victories. Successes included: defeating 15 of 20 so-called “pro-life” Democrats who voted for abortion funding in the health care reform bill, increasing the number of pro-life women in the House by 70 percent, filling the void of pro-life women in the U.S. Senate and increasing the number of pro-life women governors from one to four.
