Today, National Right to Life and Indiana Right to Life Political Action Committee (PAC) announced their endorsement of Indiana Treasurer Richard Mourdock for election to the U.S. Senate from the state of Indiana.

“National Right to Life is pleased to endorse Richard Mourdock. He is a strong advocate for life and will protect the most vulnerable among us,” said Karen Cross, National Right to Life Political Director. “We applaud Richard Mourdock’s pledge to repeal Obamacare. His opponent, Congressman Joe Donnelly, betrayed pro-lifers across Indiana when he voted to enact President Obama’s pro-abortion, pro-rationing health care law.”

“Richard Mourdock is needed in the U.S. Senate to reverse the abortion-expanding and rationing effects of that law,” Cross continued.

Obamacare will provide government funding for insurance plans that pay for abortion on demand, and will lead to the rationing of lifesaving medical treatments.

“Hoosiers can count on Richard Mourdock to defend innocent human life,” said Mike Fichter, Chairman of Indiana Right to Life PAC. “We need a pro-life majority in Congress now more than ever in order to reverse the detrimental effects of Obamacare. Indiana Right to Life PAC is proud to join with National Right to Life in endorsing our next pro-life Senator from Indiana, Richard Mourdock.”
