Want to know the real face of the so-called War on Women? Leading pro-life activist Lila Rose told the audience at the Values Voter Summit over the weekend that it’s not Sandra Fluke, but Tonya Reaves — who died in a botched abortion at Planned Parenthood.
“Tonya is the real face of the war on women – women who have been lied to by powerful interests with powerful population control ideologies who are telling us women that abortion will liberate us, that abortion will solve our problems,” Rose said. “We know the emotional threat of abortion and we know often, too often, the physical threats of abortion to our own bodies as well as against our children.”
“Tonya left behind her one-year-old son, Alvin, and a grieving mother who is now suing Planned Parenthood for their negligence,” she said.
Rose also said President Barack Obama is ignoring another war on women — sex selection abortions.
“President Obama, in a time when the war on women was supposedly being waged, went out of his way to say he refused this basic protection for unborn baby girls,” she stated.
