What Matters More: Obama’s Birthday or Those of Unborn Babies?

Last weekend, President Barack Obama celebrated his birthday but, because of his poor performance in the White House, he’s concerned he may not be back after November to mark any more birthdays as the president of the United States.

In a desperate-sounding email fundraising pitch, Obama claimed he is getting outspent in his re-election campaign, despite running tens of millions in television commercials blasting Mitt Romney, who has been endorsed by numerous pro-life groups.

“My upcoming birthday next week could be the last one I celebrate as President of the United States, but that’s not up to me — it’s up to you,” Obama wrote. “If you pitch in $3 or whatever you can before midnight tonight, you and a guest will be automatically entered to join me at my birthday get-together.”

Obama is so concerned about his own birthday and whether he gets to celebrate more in the White House, but he shows absolutely no concern for the millions of unborn children who never get to celebrate their birthdays.

In fact, Obama is so zealously pro-abortion, he reminded pro-abortion activists at a conference this past week that he will never back down in promoting abortion. Appearing at a conference of liberal bloggers in New York City, Obama pledged “not to give any ground” when it comes to the issue of abortion.

The comments from Obama came on the same day he met with officials from Planned Parenthood, the nation’s biggest abortion business, immediately after exiting Air Force One today at a campaign stop in Florida.

The two women, Jenna Cawley Tosh and Nancy Wolf, were part of a group that greeted Obama on the tarmac as he stepped off Air Force One.  Obama “spent time talking with each” before moving on to work a rope line. Tosh and Wolf are President/CEO and Board Chairwoman of Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando, respectively.

You will never see pro-life advocates get the same special treatment from this president. They will never have the opportunity to represent the interests of unborn children before President Obama as he steps off Air Force One to campaign for his re-election. Instead, he makes special arrangements to meet the heads of the local abortion business so they can continue pumping profits from abortions into funding his re-election campaign.

While Obama kowtows to Planned Parenthood and ignores a recent death involving a botched legal abortion that claimed a young woman’s life at a Planned Parenthood in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois, he rewards his friends for their campaign support but turning on the taxpayer funding spigot for them. As LifeNews documented, the Obama administration has  rewarded Planned Parenthood with taxpayer funds FIVE times this year alone — each time coming after state legislators cut off taxpayer funding for the nation’s biggest abortion business.

We can’t let this stand!

We have less than 100 days to educate every pro-life American, every Christian voter, every person who wants unborn children to celebrate their own birthdays that President Obama is going to have to find some other place besides the White House to enjoy his next one.

You can help make sure that happens by supporting LifeNews and our unique pro-life news service. LifeNews has done more to chronicle the extensive pro-abortion record Obama has compiled that any other news source. We will continue in the coming months to use every tool we can — from our email news reports, our web site, and social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook, to continue highlighting Obama’s pro-abortion record and urging pro-life people to get involved and make a difference.

Please consider supporting LifeNews today with a donation of $25, $50, or $100 to help us help unborn children celebrate their birthdays in a way President Barack Obama won’t allow. Perhaps you can contribute $500 or $1,000 to the LifeNews pro-life news network so we can continue educating and informing hundreds of thousands of pro-life people every week.

A child’s birthday party is a joyous occasion with friends and family, but too many will never see their first because President Obama is committed to keeping abortion legal for another 40 years by stacking the Supreme Court with more pro-abortion activists in a second term. We can’t let that happen. Support LifeNews today.
