The death of a young woman at a Chicago Planned Parenthood facility following a failed abortion has garnered nationwide news and attention. However, on the same day last Friday, the abortion business also injured another woman in a botched abortion.

The Pro-Life Action League uncovered the botched abortion and local pro-life advocates helping provide women outside the Planned Parenthood clinic with alternatives information provided the group a picture (shown here) of the ambulance arriving at the abortion company’s location.

“Earlier the same day, as several pro-lifers prayed outside the Aurora Planned Parenthood fortress, an ambulance arrived at the abortion facility,” said Ann Scheidler. “Earlier the same day, as several pro-lifers prayed outside the Aurora Planned Parenthood fortress, an ambulance arrived at the abortion facility.”

“We thank God there was no need to transport the victim to the hospital and we are submitting a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to learn the reason for the ambulance call,” she added.

Scheidler says the two failed abortions provided additional reasons for women to never visit a Planned Parenthood.

“If one thing is certain, however, it’s that Planned Parenthood hurts women and they don’t even have the decency to be honest about it. Planned Parenthood of Illinois CEO Carole Brite had this to say in an interview with CBS News: ‘We were shocked and saddened upon learning of a tragic development at a nearby hospital. Our hearts go out to the loved ones of this patient,'” Scheidler said. “That’s right, Planned Parenthood had the audacity to act as if her death had nothing to do with the abortion at their clinic that caused her hemorrhage! That kind of hubris is what we’ve come to expect from Planned Parenthood, but it is unacceptable.”

“Spread the word about these and other abortion mishaps so women will know that an abortion clinic is not a safe place and Planned Parenthood will not be there for you should something go wrong,” she concluded.

Tonya Reaves, 24, died late Friday night, according to a local CBS television station, of hemorrhage, with a cervical dilation and evacuation, according to the medical examiner’s office following an autopsy after the abortion that claimed her life.

CBS Chicago said Reaves died after the abortion she had at 18 S. Michigan Avenue Planned Parenthood facility. The woman was transported from the Loop Health Center Planned Parenthood abortion clinic to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 11:20 P.M.

An autopsy conducted Saturday determined that she died from hemorrhage following a Dilation and Evacuation abortion. The D&E abortion method is one employed in pregnancies that have advanced beyond the first trimester. In involves opening the cervix and removing the pre-born baby by dismembering him or her. The Loop Health Center Planned Parenthood advertises abortions up to 18 weeks.

Tonya’s twin sister Toni was devastated by the news, telling the television station, “We were born the same day. She was my other half.”
