Pro-Lifers Upset Planned Parenthood Targets Black Music Event

A leading African-American pro-life activist is very upset that the Planned Parenthood abortion business is targeting a black music festival.

As LifeNews blogger Ryan Bomberger has explained, Essence magazine’s annual Essence Music Festival has been in bed with Planned Parenthood for years and is a multiple recipient of the population control chain’s annual Margaret Sanger Award. It even co-sponsored a national conference to help Planned Parenthood and its media allies strategize on how to combat pro-life efforts.

Now, the partnership is drawing condemnation from Day Gardner, President of National Black Pro-Life Union.

“I cannot believe that the Eessence Music Festival, which was recently held in New Orleans allowed Planned Parenthood to be their sponsor. Planned Parenthood is very vocal about their role in killing babies — especially African American babies,” she said. “They consider killing our children “a vital service” and even created a film to sell gullible Blacks on the idea that we need to kill our children if we are to have successful and/or fulfilling lives.”

The rest of Gardner’s statement about the festival continues:

I thought it interesting that Dr. Vanessa Cullins, vice president for external medical affairs at PPFA listed the medical problems that African Americans share. In that list she included cancers, diabetes, heart disease and the like — but failed to mention the link between breast cancer and abortion. She also failed to mention the fact that abortion is the number one killer of African Americans — killing more Black people than, cancer, strokes, heart disease, violent crime and all other deaths combined!

It’s sad that so many so called black “celebrities” will sell out our race, our culture and our pro-life heritage in order to obtain or prolong their 15 minutes of fame — even if it means trampling on the tiny bodies of dead black babies.

Many Blacks who are blinded by bling are oblivious to the fact that Planned Parenthood’s founder Margaret Sanger affiliated herself with the Ku Klux Klan and had ties to Hitler’s regime.

With that in mind — beautiful, black ESSENCE, I’ve got an idea for you. Next year, why not ask the KKK to sponsor your music festival?

Though the 3500 black deaths linked to the Klan pale in comparison to Planned Parenthood’s 15 million plus black deaths — I think they are a still perfect fit for your event. Both the KKK and Planned Parenthood share the same “end game” and the ESSENCE Music Festival will continue to be just as Dr. Cullins said: “A party–with a purpose.”
