Planned Parenthood: All About Abortion, All the Time

The next time you hear a pro-abortion Planned Parenthood supporter claim that Planned Parenthood is about so much more than abortions, and that their true aim is to provide women’s health services, remember this. Planned Parenthood continually lobbies for and in fact promotes abortion on demand, unrestricted, and unregulated.

In fact, they are now promoting abortion for underage minors, without any parental involvement or consent.

When the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) made the reasonable decision to restrict the abortion drug “Plan B” from being sold over the counter to minors, underage girls, Planned Parenthood went ballistic.

Cecile Richards, the president of the largest abortion provider in America, Planned Parenthood, immediately demanded a meeting with Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius.

She argued that the decision to prevent this abortive drug from being sold over the counter to minors “hurts all women,” and insisted that HHS “make Plan B One-Step emergency contraception available over the counter to women of all reproductive age [read: underage minors].”

Remember, it is Planned Parenthood, which receives hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars, that has fought vehemently against any regulation of the abortion industry, even regulations to ensure that invasive abortion procedures are conducted in a sterile environment.

Planned Parenthood has one objective – abortion – and this is critical to remember the next time the debate over more taxpayer funding for the abortion giant arises.
