Tomorrow, Planned Parenthood’s 31st Annual Food Fare will take place at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica California. The annual event started in 1979 with a demonstration by Julia Child. Attendees are paying big money to attend this fundraiser for the largest child killing organization in the world.

Day Session:
10:30 am to 2 pm
Tickets $125 in advance, $150 at the door

Night Session:
6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
$175 in advance, $200 at the door

Two of the Item donors to this blood money fund raiser were Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert and Dance for Kids. It just saddens me that businesses that cater to children help raise money for the killing of innocent babies. Do they not realize they are helping to kill off the very children who could be their customers in just a few years?

I was also disappointed to see some of my favorite restaurants on the list of donors to one of the deadliest and most racists organizations in history. I loved the fish tacos at Cheesecake Factory, but I have no intention of ever eating there again.

Pinks Hot Dogs and Tommy’s World Famous Hamburgers were places I would often visit when I go to Los Angeles; thank God In & Out Burger is NOT donating to this event. Every year at the March for Life my best friend and I go eat at Fogo de Chao Steak House for his birthday; I guess I will have to find another place to celebrate next year.

Last year Planned Parenthood raised over $450,000 from this event and since it started in 1979 they have raised over $7.2 million dollars in blood money. Restaurant critic, author, and radio host Merrill Shindler has said, “…For sheer culinary pleasure, there’s nothing like the Planned Parenthood Food Fare – a tribute to the tasty culinary diversity of LA!” We hope you’ll join us to experience good food for a good cause! Purchase your ticket today.

For the sake of all the precious children who will never get a chance to experience good food, I will never grace any of these restaurants again. If you want to avoid these businesses and not financially support accessories to murder like California Pizza Kitchen, Paula Deen, Souplantation and hundreds more, check out the blood money fundraiser web site.

Update: After writing our report on the Planned Parenthood Food Fare and the
organizations that donated to their silent auction, we began contacting some of the businesses to express our displeasure.

Several of my blog followers contacted The Cheesecake Factory, very
upset with their support of Planned Parenthood. I got in contact with
Mark Mears, the Senior Vice President / Chief Marketing Officer for
The Cheesecake Factory.

I let Mr. Mears know how upset Stand True and our supporters were and
that our intentions were to no longer patronize The Cheesecake
Factory. It worked! Here is what Mark has issued as a statement from
The Cheesecake Factory:

“We have not previously, do not currently and have no future plans to
support any political lobbying group supporting either side of this
emotionally charged issue.” “I assure you that we most certainly did not sponsor the event you
mention and our restaurants are indeed coached to avoid donating gift
cards to organizations representing either side of this debate for
precisely this reason.” Hopefully, this clarified position will satisfy your concerns. Mark A. Mears
SVP / Chief Marketing Officer
The Cheesecake Factory, Incorporated

While it was an individual store that donated to Planned Parenthood,
it was important for us to demand that as a policy they do not allow
this support in the name of The Cheesecake Factory.

There were hundreds of businesses on the list that donated to Planned
Parenthood; we have to decided to focus on five businesses at a time.
Here is a list of the five businesses we want you to contact. We were
successful with The Cheesecake Factory with just a small number of
people complaining; imagine if we all took action with the rest of the
businesses!

Here is the list of companies we want you to write to:

Paula Deen – For public relations inquiries, please contact:

Nancy Assuncao – [email protected]

California Pizza Kitchen – https://www.cpk.com and click on contact us

Souplantation – Call toll free 888-374-8360

Fogo De Chao – https://www.fogodechao.com/ Click on Contact us

Mann Theatres – Mann Theatres

Phone: (818) 784-6266

E-Mail: [email protected]

Please take a few minutes and contact these businesses and let them
know how you feel about their donating to Planned Parenthood

Update 2: A representative of Paula Deen responded and we are waiting for something more definite beyond this:

We do send out signed cookbooks to many organizations for fundraisers they
are doing, however I am not sure if this is something we submitted or
possibly just someone purchased a cookbook of hers to donate to their
organization. We in no way endorse any organization except for what her
foundation supports, S.A.F.E shelter, Second Harvest, Graceway Home, and
Bethesda Home for Boys.

Best Wishes,
Cassie Aimar
